My name is Jonathan Akva and I'm 25 years old. My interest in the art of massage began when I was just 14 years old, and it quickly became a passion after learning about the human body. As I got older, giving people massage and hearing their feedback, made me think about my options of a career in massage therapy. People enjoyed my massages as much as I enjoyed giving them. In 2013 I got into an accident that completely changed my life. I saw what massage therapy did for my recovery and I wanted to provide that form of healing to people. I attended the Baltimore School of Massage where I learned the holistic side of massage and what it can actually do to the body. I was introduced to a vast array of massage techniques used to remedy the different ailments of the body. After completing my education I focused my energy into my main goal which has been to help as many people as I can in rehabilitating them. A healthy mind and body is the recipe for a happy life.
